USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: do the simple product calculations

Epizym Cattle comes in 1kg containers.

1. Storage tank(s) with 25% or more water inclusion (rainwater, yard run-off, etc.).

1kg per 18 cows

Calculate the total number of cows (2 youngstock = 1 cow) whose slurry will go into the tank and divide by 18. Result is the number of EPIZYM CATTLE kgs required for the initial (purge) dose of the storage tank(s).

Every three months, or after each partial emptying, a further half rate maintenance dose should be applied. If the tank is less than 20% full start again with a full dose.

EXAMPLE: 100 cows Initial dose: 5.5kg Maintenance dose: 2.75kg

1kg per 15 cows

Calculate number of cows contributing to slurry production (2 youngstock = 1 cow) Divide by 15 to give number of kg Epizym Cattle required for the initial dose.

Every 3 months, or after each partial emptying (25-50% full), a further half-rate maintenance dose should be applied. If the tank is less than 20% full start again with a full dose.

Example: 100 cows - Initial dose | 6.6kg Maintenance dose 3.3kg

NB. Stores with particular problems, eg thick crust, should seek advice before attempting treatment as a higher dose or different method of application may be required.

Step 2: Prepare and apply it

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Rehydrate Epizym Cattle by stirring into luke warm water (hand hot) at 1 kg to 10 litres (2 gallon). Leave for 30-45 minutes (stirring occasionally) and then apply as follows: -

1. CIRCULAR TANKS - Pour into the reception pit, which should be full of fresh slurry, and pump into the tank within 24 hours.
2. SLATTED TANKS - Pour into the tank at approximately 1 metre (4ft) intervals.
3. LAGOONS - refer to distributor.
4. To ensure easy application further dilution of the product can, if necessary, be made just prior to use.
5. NB. EPIZYM CATTLE must always be applied to the liquid fraction and never to the crust.

DO NOT APPLY TO THE SOLIDS LAYER AT THE BASE OF THE TANK OR THROW OVER THE CRUST IT WON'T WORK.
