Usage Instructions

PIGS ON STRAW
Step 1: do the simple product calculations

a) Calculate the area to be treated. Product rate is 1kg of Epizym Pigs/22Osqm. - (1lb/lOOOsqft).
If you require assistance with product calculation please contact us ››

Step 2: understand when to apply it

Apply Epizym Pigs on day 15 after the pigs go into the yard. This allows some slurry to build up as a food source.

Rehydrate by stirring Epizym Pigs into luke warm water (hand hot) at 1kg to 10 litres (llb to 1 gallon). Leave for 30 to 45 minutes and carefully apply with a watering can to cover the area.

If further dilution is required to ensure an even coverage, add water just prior to spraying.

Apply 2/3 of liquid to dunging area (normally 1/3 of the pen). Apply the balance evenly over the rest of the litter.

SHELF STABILITY  For long term stability, EPIZYM-PIGS is supplied as a dehydrated powder. To activate the micro-organisms and enzymes, mix with warm water immediately before use.
HEALTH & SAFETY • Contains natural micro-organisms
• Harmless to humans, plants and animals
• Contains no toxic or hazardous chemicals, acids, caustics or solvents
• Biodegradable

• Do not use on absorbent surfaces.
STORAGE Keep in a cool dry place. DO NOT allow the product to become damp or wet in storage.

PIGS ON SLURRY
Step 1: do the simple product calculations

a) Calculate final gallonage of slurry to be treated (volume of channel cu ft x 6.25)

b) Calculate initial Purge Dose - 1kg/45OOgals

c) Calculate maintenance Dose - 1kg/9000gals

If you require assistance with these product calculations please contact us ››

Step 2: Understand when to apply it

1. Initial purge - apply the initial purge when the contents of the in house slurry channels are approximately 15cm(6in) deep, or in the case of holding tanks and lagoons when the contents reach approximately 10% capacity.

2. Maintenance - apply the maintenance dose at each emptying of the slurry channel leaving approximately 15cm(6in) of treated slurry in the bottom of the channel.

Step 3: Prepare and apply it

Rehydrate by stirring the calculated dosage of Epizym Pigs into luke warm water (hand hot) at 1kg to 10 litres (1lb to 1 gallon). Leave for 30 minutes and then apply directly to the slurry channels.

DO NOT APPLY TO THE SOLIDS LAYER AT THE BASE OF THE TANK OR THROW OVER THE CRUST – IT WON’T WORK.

Apply EPIZYM-PIGS to the in-house slurry channels - shown as dotted lines
